- On 29th October 1929, Lord Irwin announced that the goal of the British 
policy was the attainment of Dominion Status by India.

- In 1930 Chittagong Armoury was raided.
- In 1930 Simon Commission report was published.
- The first round table conference inaugurated by George V and continued upto
